Job summary

Five Star Holding in Houston, TX is seeking an electronics technician responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing automation equipment in manufacturing. You will ensure electrical and electronic systems operate safely and efficiently according to company standards.

Applicants should have 3+ years in industrial electronics, an electronics-related degree, and hands-on experience with PLCs, drives and HMIs.

Qualifications

Requires Certification in Electronics Engineering or an Associate Degree in Electronics technologies.
Minimum 3 years' industrial electronics experience in manufacturing.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Develop preventive and predictive maintenance following standardized procedures.
Interact with operators and supervisors in a team-oriented environment.
Read electrical/electronic schematics and manuals; research manuals online.
Troubleshoot faults and breakdowns using instruments and PLC ladder diagrams up to 480V.
Program PLCs and HMIs; set up drives.
Maintain records of faults and alarms in computer database.
Ensure machine parameters and setup are correct.
