The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City seeks an Electronic Tech to install and maintain robotic equipment for the printing industry.

This fully qualified technician role covers hardware and software support, on-site installations, and collaboration with contractors and facility managers to keep production running smoothly.

Candidates should have an Electromechanical background, strong schematic reading, and the ability to work safely from elevated locations.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Four years of commercial experience as Electromechanical Technician, Automation & Controls Technician, or related field.
• Ability to read schematics and machine drawings in electronic and paper formats.
• Experience with circuit and electrical cabinet design, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of enterprise‑level systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe and database management systems.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot advanced automation systems involving production of printed product manufacturing.
• Test and maintain a wide variety of electronic hardware and software systems associated with printing presses and the production of printed products.
• Troubleshoot installation errors and coordinate repair.
• Conduct regular PMs on all equipment.
• Liaison between end users and back-end IT support for on-site installations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain communications networks including IP, Serial, Fiber and other data buses.
• Perform maintenance and testing on printing presses and related equipment.
• Provide technical and commissioning support to contractors and Facility Managers.
• Connect to equipment using IP, Serial, Console, and Web-Interface options for configuration and troubleshooting.
• Train fellow technicians as requested by supervisor.
• Manage and oversee projects and contractors as requested by supervisor.
• Assist in scoping and estimating projects.
• Create, update, and maintain detailed records and documentation using Word, Excel, and other software.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
