Job summary

A leading agribusiness solutions provider in Council Bluffs is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician. This position involves maintaining automation systems, troubleshooting high voltage and PLCs, and ensuring industry standards compliance. The ideal candidate will possess an associates degree in electronics or equivalent experience and demonstrate strong ladder logic comprehension. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience or schooling troubleshooting and repairing PLC's.
• Experience in a soybean crush facility preferred.
• Programming experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all automation throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair high voltage lighting and VFD systems.
• Follow and interpret blueprints or schematics.

Skills

Ability to read and understand ladder logic

Good written and verbal communications skills

Experience with networking systems

Familiarity with mass flow meters and pressure transmitters

Education

Associates degree in electronics or 3-5 years equivalent experience

Tools

Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

SAP maintenance software
