Job summary

Saige Partners is seeking a skilled Controls, Automation & Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team in Germantown, WI. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs to keep high-speed manufacturing running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, robotics, and electrical schematics, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial automation or electrical maintenance
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and programming Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, motion control, and electrical schematics
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, wiring, sensors, motors, instrumentation, and control devices
• Support equipment installations, automation upgrades, commissioning, and process improvement initiatives
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including FDA where applicable
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and work order records
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and improve system performance
