Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking an E&A Specialist to manage, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot advanced automation systems in our facilities. The role requires hands-on expertise with PLCs, HMI programming, and automation networks to ensure production efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced PLC programming skills in RSLogix 5000.
• Familiarity with HMI programming and FactoryTalk suites.
• Experience in maintenance of automated production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and service equipment using schematics and instructions.
• Diagnose and isolate advanced automation system issues.
• Replace defective circuitry and components to minimize downtime.
• Upgrade and program Advanced Automation Systems.
• Troubleshoot complex PLC issues and modify programs as needed.
• Teach Advanced Automation skills to other personnel.
• Read blueprints and vendor instructions for procedures.
• Maintain safety postings and identify tags on equipment.
• Work with maintenance to repair in-house equipment down to component level.
