Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients is seeking an Electrical & Automation Support Engineer for the Severnside Dairy site. The role focuses on maintenance delivery, asset reliability, and continued development of the site's automation infrastructure.

You will support maintenance plans, drive improvements, and align with ADE/ADM standards. Key activities include PLC programming across Siemens S7 and Allen-Bradley, SCADA development, and collaboration with central automation teams to enhance performance,

Qualifications

Educated in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, ideally with a recognised apprenticeship.
Strong fault-finding ability within electrical panels and breakdowns.
Experience with Siemens S7 and Allen-Bradley PLCs and SCADA systems.
Ability to develop INTOUCH applications and related automation software.

Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement across engineering, facilities and site roadmap activity.
Provide specialist electrical and automation support for reactive issues and structured problem solving.
Support minor automation Capex projects and site automation programs.
Collaborate with central automation teams to maintain standards and documentation.
Coach colleagues to build automation knowledge and improve reliability and safety.
