Job summary
Dematic seeks Electrical Assembly Technicians to join our Grand Rapids manufacturing team, translating detailed drawings into wiring harnesses and panel assemblies. You will work with hand tools, drills, and crimping/stripping machines to build electrical harnesses and wiring that meet project schedules.
This role requires teamwork, basic math, and the ability to stand and lift up to 20 pounds. Forklift operation may be required; safety, efficiency, and quality are highly valued in this
Qualifications
- Experience with electrical harness/component and panel wiring assembly.
- Proficient with basic math and measurement tools.
- Experience using manual, power, and air tools in an industrial setting.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs regularly.
- Team player with good communication to work with sub-assembly techs and supervisors.
- Forklift operation or willingness to obtain a license.
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed drawings, BOMs, and wiring schematics for vehicle assembly tasks.
- Use various hand tools, machines, and manual labor to complete the vehicle build assembly process.
- Complete assembly vehicle builds and electrical harness/panel wiring to meet schedules.
- Update engineering drawings and wiring schematics as needed during assembly.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment per company policies and OSHA rules.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the company.
