Job summary

Motion Industries in Cedarcrest, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle shipping and receiving, pick and pack according to sales orders, and ensure accurate inventory control. You will prepare items for delivery, secure shipments to prevent damage, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and may operate a forklift or similar equipment as needed.

This role supports customer service by ensuring timely fulfillment, may handle counter sales or invoices, and contributes to efficient warehouse

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
Basic math and reading comprehension are required.
Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

Determines which items need to be picked, checked and shipped from sales orders.
Pulls orders according to the sales order and rechecks them to ensure accuracy.
Prepares items for delivery to customers.
Secures packages to prevent damage in shipping to customers.
Maintains a clean, safe and organized workspace.
May operate a forklift or similar equipment.
Receives items in the computer system to show stock availability.
May deliver items to customers and obtain signatures.
May process counter sales or invoices.
