Job summary

George Thomas, in partnership with a rapidly growing automation, packaging machinery and robotics manufacturer in the Greater Philadelphia area, seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer. You will be the key link between engineering and production, translating designs into high-quality, on-time builds.

Responsibilities include leading daily production activities, owning schedules from design release through fabrication, assembly, testing and delivery, and driving continuous improvements across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, fabrication, automation or industrial setting.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating shop-floor activities.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Strong communication across engineering, operations and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities ensuring priorities and deadlines.
• Own project schedules from design release to delivery.
• Bridge engineering and manufacturing to improve buildability and quality.
• Monitor inventory and supplier deliveries to avoid delays.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity, and automation.
