Job summary
Amron, A Division of AMTEC Corp. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the plant’s move from relay logic to modern PLC controls and safety systems.
You will design, implement and install control programs for automated equipment and supervise integration with feed, discharge, and guarding devices. You will train in-house electricians and maintenance personnel to diagnose and repair automation systems more efficiently, and you will develop electrical drawings and ladder diagrams while
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and routings.
- Experience with PLCs and automation systems.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead equipment control modernization from relay logic to PLCs.
- Develop and install PLC programs for machines with safety devices.
- Train maintenance staff to improve diagnostics and repairs.
- Diagnose PLC-driven equipment and robotics (Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens).
- Develop electrical drawings and ladder diagrams for plant equipment.
- Collaborate with production, quality and engineering for improvements.
- Evaluate systems and recommend safety, reliability, and performance enhancements.
