Job summary
Amcor is seeking a Project Engineer to provide engineering support, lead improvement initiatives, and manage capital projects across plant operations. You will develop control systems, troubleshoot, and collaborate with vendors to optimize downtime and efficiency.
Ideal candidates have PLC/RS Logic experience, familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms, and strong problem-solving and documentation skills. Excellent safety and 5S practices are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
- Experience with PLC and RS Logic testing/adjustment.
- Knowledge of TPM and safety regulations preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to reduce downtime and improve process efficiency.
- Design safety devices and control systems; develop PLC/HMI solutions.
- Manage capital projects from conception to installation per regulations.
- Develop, modify, and document control systems and procedures.
