Job summary

Strativia is seeking a System Administrator to provide administration, automation, security, and advanced troubleshooting for enterprise IT systems in a federal environment. You will manage Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, and endpoint management while developing PowerShell scripts and automation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant experience, strong Windows/Linux operations, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience may be considered.
• Experience administering Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and enterprise endpoint-management tools.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience with Windows 11, Windows Server, enterprise networking, and Linux environments.
• Experience providing advanced troubleshooting and Tier 3 support.
• Microsoft 365 and/or Azure certifications preferred.
• Security+ certification preferred.
• ITIL Foundation preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure and Active Directory environments.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, access controls, group policies, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Support SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, PowerApps, and Entra ID.
• Develop, maintain, and deploy PowerShell scripts and other automation solutions.
• Support CI/CD and automated administrative processes.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Support network security, firewalls, and related protocols.
• Deploy, update, patch, and maintain enterprise applications.
• Implement workstation security policies and system-hardening requirements.
• Provide Tier 3 escalated support and root-cause analysis.
• Document technical resolutions in the service ticketing system.
• Support Windows 11 migration planning, testing, configuration, and deployment.
• Support ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Intune, Windows Server, and SUSE Linux environments.
• Monitor system availability, patch compliance, and service-level performance.
