Job summary

Wilsonart is seeking an Automation Dispatch Stager to identify and load inventory for the current production schedule on automated lines. You will review schedules and slab maps to maximize material yield and operate a range of machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting finished pieces for quality, packing to ticket requirements, and performing basic maintenance while ensuring a clean, safe work area and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend positional work instructions.
• Ability to read piece tickets and slab maps produced by proprietary system for production requirements.
• Able to read and adhere to a production schedule.
• Able to record inventory and verify product type and dimensions using a calibrated tape measure.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication with hourly employees and management.
• Forklift certification is possible.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.
• Learn AUTOMATION Software and perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to document data at assigned workstation using appropriate forms.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, job tickets, and slab maps to meet molded requirements and maximize material yield.
• Operate automation equipment, forklifts, saws, routers, edge finishers, CNC machinery, and other production equipment as assigned.
• Safely move and process slabs and cut pieces through saws, waterjets, finishing lines, and automation cells.
• Inspect materials and finished pieces for dimensional and visual quality; identify non-conforming product for MRB review.
• Pack and label finished parts using the appropriate materials and in accordance with job ticket requirements.
• Perform minor equipment diagnostics and maintenance and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards while meeting or exceeding established output expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
