Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for an Automation Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting a leading company in the secondary mortgage industry. This position is located at a client site in Reston, VA, or Plano, TX, with a hybrid working model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead enterprise application design and oversee the implementation of efficient end-to-end solutions. Align technology goals with business needs, enforce coding standards, and drive innovation by integrating cloud-native and emerging technologies.

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Expertise in cloud platforms AWS and container orchestration
• Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Oracle, Redshift)
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (Java, Python, Node.js, Bash, PowerShell)
• Understanding of modern front-end and back-end frameworks
• Deep knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD best practices
• Focus on microservices architecture, serverless computing, and API management
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems
• Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes

Desired skills:

• Expertise in AWS and container orchestration
• Knowledge of database technologies
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end frameworks

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent, with 8+ years of related experience and leadership in similar projects.

Certifications:

AWS Solutions Architect, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or relevant cloud certifications.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range in the U.S. is $84,000 - $165,300, based on various factors including experience and certifications.
