Job summary

Porsche Engineering North America is seeking an Engineering Technician to own technical implementation and operation of digital workflows, data integrations, and dashboards for Finance and Operations. You will translate business needs into practical solutions, supporting development through maintenance.

Responsibilities include designing automated workflows, dashboards, IT equipment support, and collaborating with Finance/HR/Operations to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query, and SharePoint-based business solutions.
• Experience with data modeling, data validation, and scripting or querying using Python, SQL, or comparable tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills; ability to translate business needs into maintainable technical solutions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal technical instructions closely and accurately
• Proficiency using computers as an end user (MS Office, data entry systems)
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
• Clear communicator that can explain technical details to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• This role is in office 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Develop and enhance operational dashboards with data preparation, consolidation, and reporting logic.
• Assist with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of end-user IT equipment and workplace systems.
• Monitor workflows, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate access, licensing, and hosting requirements with IT.
• Work with Finance, Operations, and HR to clarify requirements, test solutions, and implement process improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation, operating instructions, and structured handovers to ensure continuity and support user adoption.
• Assist with IT audits and related documentation.
