Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Mechatronics Maintenance Specialist to ensure reliable operation of production and packaging systems. You will perform proactive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical subsystems, supporting uptime and equipment longevity.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent professional certification.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read technical manuals, machine prints, and schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting high-voltage systems and automated machinery.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance schedules to maximize the reliability of production and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in PLCs, VFDs, servos, and robotic systems to minimize downtime.
• Perform precision mechanical repairs including alignment of spindles, shafts, and bearings.
• Manage installation, relocation, and calibration of production assets meeting safety standards.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation to support data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate on facility-wide maintenance projects including plumbing and structural repairs.
