Job summary

CentroMotion seeks a skilled maintenance/controls engineer with strong troubleshooting of PLCs, servo systems, and industrial controls. Knowledge of CNC basics and electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems is essential.

You will maintain and troubleshoot equipment across presses, furnaces, robotics and power distribution, working independently or with cross-functional teams; occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot automation systems and networks.
• Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens hardware/software.
• Modify existing equipment systems including PLC/HMI, robotics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of multi-axis robots.
• Support engineering and operations relating to process issues and improvements.
• Consult with suppliers to specify products and arrange purchases.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Willing to travel occasionally for training.

Responsibilities

• The individual will be responsible for maintaining/troubleshooting equipment and facility systems with emphasis on controls.
• Maintain/repair/replace and test automation systems, components and networks.
• Lead CI initiatives and collaborate with engineering and operations.
