Job summary

OptiMIM seeks an experienced Controls & Automation Technician to drive new equipment builds, PLC programming, ladder logic, and robot integration. You will troubleshoot and resolve production problems, and perform preventive maintenance to keep lines running efficiently.

Role involves coordination with Process Engineering, wiring and documentation, safety reviews, and collaboration with outside vendors. Strong reading of P&IDs/blueprints and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• PLC programming and controls knowledge required.
• Ability to read blueprints and P&IDs in English.
• 2+ years of electrical/automation experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Perform new equipment builds including PLC programming and robot integration.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Assist with wiring, safety reviews, and documentation (wiring diagrams, P&IDs).
• Collaborate with Process Engineering and outside vendors as needed.
