Job summary

Black Hills Energy is seeking a Gas Tech Services professional to install and maintain control systems and automation equipment. The role involves working on pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, and PLC/SCADA systems, with emphasis on safety and quality maintenance.

Location options include Casper, Laramie, or Rawlins, WY. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Travel up to 25% may be necessary.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
No experience required; training provided.
Understanding of and experience in natural gas measurement and AGA standards.
Basic math skills.
Intermediate digital literacy.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work from written and verbal instructions.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and adjust SCADA/PLC control systems and RTU equipment.
Perform I&M checks on control systems.
Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution.
Install conduit, run wiring, and test electrical systems.
Test and calibrate meters, gauges, transmitters and related equipment.
Work safely around energized equipment and follow safety procedures.
