Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Hickory, North Carolina, seeks a Controls & Manufacturing Technician to provide hands-on technical support across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot production equipment, support preventative maintenance, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of controls systems including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, and actuators.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA standards, and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues.
• Support maintenance and reliability initiatives.
• Create and update electrical schematics.
