Job summary

Ampcus Inc. in Lincoln, NH seeks an Automation Controls Technician for the 5th shift to join our hands-on manufacturing team. You will build, wire, test, and troubleshoot custom automation equipment working with engineers and technicians to bring designs to life.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in a mechanic/manufacturing environment or training.
• Hands-on skills from cars, farms, homes, etc. are a strong bonus.
• AS in engineering/technology would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with automation engineers to interpret designs and help bring them to life.
• Study specifications and drawings to guide assembly of automation equipment.
• Coordinate and manage projects, keeping them organized and clean.
• Organize incoming materials from machine shop and vendors for projects.
• Determine assembly methods and verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances.
• Wire and plumb machines under engineer guidance; troubleshoot electronics and PLCs.
