Job summary

CraftMark Bakery in Indianapolis is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to maintain and enhance its highly automated production lines, focusing on electrical and automation systems to keep operations safe and efficient.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI, motion control, and instrumentation in food manufacturing. The position offers a sign-on bonus, competitive pay, PTO from day one, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent technical training and relevant work experience.
• At least 1 year of related industrial controls or maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of processing, packaging, and related production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve automated production systems while ensuring safe operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Assist with machine scheduling for repairs and rebuilds.
• Participate in automation and process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams.
• Support safety, GMP, and 5S audits.
