Shurtape Technologies, LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking an Automation Control Technician to set up, install, troubleshoot, test, and repair complex electrical and electronic equipment, including automatic machines and process controls. You will work with motor control centers, computer control systems, and calibration programs.

Candidates should have an associate degree in electronics and 2–5 years of PLC/drive/HMI experience in manufacturing.

Formación

• Associates degree in electronics or equivalent military electronics training.
• 2–5 years of PLCs, AC/DC drives, and HMI software experience in manufacturing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform low-to-high voltage electrical work and diagnostic testing.

Responsabilidades

• Review and report personal activities daily or more frequently.
• Assist Engineering/ Maintenance in installation and repair procedures.
• Maintain safe work practices and ISO calibration standards.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs.
• Archive equipment blueprints and operating software.
