Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to set up, troubleshoot, repair and test complex electrical and mechanical equipment. This includes automatic machines, process controls, motor control centers, and related systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, ensure safe work practices, and support production equipment while maintaining inventory and collaborating with maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
Military training in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Technology (2 years minimum).
On-the-Job Training – 3 years minimum in industrial maintenance – electrical/electronics/mechanical.

Responsibilities

Review and report personal activities daily or more frequently.
Assist in determining proper installation and repair procedures for mechanical/electrical/electronic equipment.
Notify if additional hand, power or electronic diagnostic tools are required; participate in preventive maintenance.
Ensure safe work practices and company policies are followed at all times.
Maintain optimum inventory levels of critical components.
Perform other duties as directed by Maintenance Manager.
Capable of operating a lift truck.
Maintain a valid driver’s license.
