Job summary

Walmart in South Florida is seeking an Automation Controls Specialist to maintain PLC programs for conveyor and sortation systems at our South Florida distribution center.

You will troubleshoot industrial networks, configure VFDs/ servo drives, and support expansion projects as the facility grows its automated capabilities. This on-site role requires rotating shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial controls experience in distribution or manufacturing.
• Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting (ControlLogix/CompactLogix).
• Experience with industrial Ethernet networking and VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PLC programs for conveyor and sortation systems.
• Troubleshoot communication faults on industrial networks.
• Configure VFDs and servo drives and support automation expansion projects.
