Job summary

Walmart in Valdosta, GA is seeking an Automation Supervisor, Manufacturing, SAT - MON; 7:00AM - 7:00PM. The role leads automation systems across production lines, troubleshoots PLCs, HMIs, and robotics, and partners with maintenance, operations, and engineering to improve reliability and efficiency.

Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year maintenance or related field, 2 years PLC/Robot Programming, plus professional certification. Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional certification in engineering, technology, or related field.
• 1 year's experience in maintenance or related field.
• 2 years’ experience PLC/Robot Programming.

Responsibilities

• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
• Programs, modifies, commissions, and troubleshoots PLC and automated control systems supporting manufacturing operations.
• Diagnoses complex controls and automation issues using PLC logic, electrical schematics, system diagnostics, and field-level troubleshooting.
• Supports development, modification, and optimization of PLC programs, HMIs, control sequences, alarms, interlocks, and automated equipment.
