Job summary

NexGen Automation LLC is seeking a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute automation, controls, and integration projects from initiation to completion. You will ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, coordinating engineering, installation, and commissioning activities, and serving as the main client contact. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience in automation, controls, construction, or technical services.
• Strong scheduling and cost-tracking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of automation and controls projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate engineering, programming, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and track progress, costs, and schedule performance.
• Review drawings, submittals, and technical documentation; manage risks and change orders.
• Prepare reports with financial forecasts and schedule updates.
