Cindavi is seeking a Controls Programmer I to join our automation team. You will help program, debug, and commission custom machinery, turning electrical and mechanical concepts into reliable PLC-controlled systems.

You will work with experienced technicians to validate operation, create operator interfaces, and contribute to documentation and field service. This role is ideal for an early-career controls professional looking to strengthen PLC skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of ladder logic programming for PLCs.
• Familiarity with PLC networks, communications, and hardware/software interfaces.
• Ability to read electrical prints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Write and debug PLC code in accordance with work instructions, project specifications, and customer requirements.
• Program graphic user interfaces that help operators interact with automated equipment.
• Partner with mechanical and electrical technicians to confirm machine sequences and reliability.
• Test switches, cylinders, actuators, and devices to verify component performance.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, parts lists, calibration data, and wire lists.
• Support machine-manual development and occasional field service work for installation and modification.
• Contribute ideas that improve processes, quality, and team efficiency.
