Job summary

Hydro Resources in Ft. Lupton, CO is seeking a Controls Field Technician 3 to perform installation, wiring, and troubleshooting of water-well pumping and control systems. You will work with VFDs, PLCs, telemetry, and SCADA, and progress toward higher technician levels with demonstrated competency.

You will travel to customer sites, maintain safety standards, document field work, and support startup and testing activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license without restrictions and good driving record.
• DOT physical and LMS safety training up to date.
• Trade-school education or training for controls/electrical work.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and work in field conditions.
• Commitment to safety procedures and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform field-service work on water-well pumping systems and electrical controls.
• Install, wire, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot VFDs, telemetry, PLCs, and SCADA components.
• Assist configuration/startup of submersible pumps and related equipment.
• Maintain safety, PPE, and equipment; document field activities and service records.
• Support drawing work in AutoCAD/Electra and basic electrical drawings.
• Coordinate with senior staff and travel to on-site locations as required.
