Job summary

PACCAR Engine Company in Columbus, Mississippi, is seeking an electrical engineering professional to support machining and plant-wide control systems. Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
Extensive knowledge using Siemens PLC products.
Familiar with risk assessments and safety evaluation.
Ability to manage multiple projects with flexibility.
Knowledge of electrical codes preferred (city/state/federal).
PLC/SCADA programming proficiency.
Experience with robotics and CNC systems.
Familiar with Profinet/Profibus and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Designs and implements modifications to electrical systems including robotics and CNC machines.
Coordinates and supervises major maintenance and emergency repairs.
Maintains records and prepares management reports.
Implement and maintain computerized PLC and CNC control.
Provide maintenance supervision support as needed.
Continuous improvement with IT and process monitoring systems.
Follow ISO documentation standards and update machine design files.
Support Six Sigma projects and capital budget activities.
Communicate project status to plant management.
Work in a high-performance team; evening shift.
