Job summary
Auria is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for our Albemarle, NC plant to enhance and develop advanced machine controls across robotic and automation systems. The role requires hands-on experience with PLC/HMI platforms, robotics, and electrical hardware, ensuring safe, reliable production.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years in engineering or manufacturing.
- Bachelor-degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Experience with PLC/HMI systems and robotics.
Responsibilities
- Update, modify and improve existing controls systems including robotic programs and PLC logic.
- Design and develop new machine controls involving robotics, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vision applications.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance on modifications to keep production running.
- Knowledge of machine and plant networking solutions.
- Work with OEMs to ensure new equipment meets safety and controls standards.
- Integrate barcode scanners/cameras into PLC control systems.
- Provide electrical support for injection molding systems and robotics.
