Job summary

LeoForce seeks a mid-level Automation Engineer for our Gainesville, GA facility. You will diagnose and resolve automation issues across assembly lines and processing equipment, lead capability studies, and support APQP, FMEA, and Control Plan activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing automation, with strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• 3+ years of automation or process engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across automation, robotics, and control systems.
• Experience with schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Proficiency in MS Office and statistical analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve automation issues on automated assembly lines, injection molding, and metal processing equipment.
• Conduct machine and process capability studies, implementing improvements as needed.
• Support APQP, FMEA, and Control Plan development and review processes.
