Job summary
Actalent in Greenville, SC seeks an Automation Controls Engineer to design, program, and support custom automation systems using PLC, HMI, and robotics. You will translate customer specs into robust control solutions and develop clear operation manuals while supporting startup and commissioning at customer sites.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in controls engineering with hands-on design, programming, and support of automation systems.
- Proficiency with PLC and HMI programming, including developing, testing, and troubleshooting control logic and operator interfaces.
- Experience with Rockwell, Beckhoff, Siemens, and FANUC platforms in controls and automation applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop control software packages using PLCs and HMIs to meet project and customer requirements.
- Program robotic and controls equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and robots, per detailed customer specifications.
- Own projects from concept through programming, startup, and commissioning, ensuring successful delivery and performance.
