Job summary

The client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, seeks a Controls Engineer in Sterling Heights, MI to design, modify, and support automated production systems and integrate equipment with plant-wide controls.

You will develop PLC programs with Rockwell ControlLogix, build and support HMI applications, troubleshoot electrical controls, and commission new equipment with strong emphasis on Siemens HMI and industrial networks.

Qualifications

Experience designing and supporting automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.
Proficiency in PLC programming with Rockwell ControlLogix and related platforms.
Ability to develop and support HMI applications and operator interfaces.
Ability to read electrical schematics, control drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting skills and independent work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Design, modify, and support automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.
Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC programs using Rockwell Automation ControlLogix and related platforms.
Develop and support HMI applications and operator interfaces.
Integrate manufacturing equipment with plant-wide control systems and industrial networks.
Perform startup, commissioning, debugging, and validation activities on new and modified equipment.
