Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer within the Factory Automation team to design, build, and deploy automated manufacturing systems across Blue Origin facilities. You will contribute to the controls architecture from concept through detailed design, supporting offline simulations and online commissioning.

The role spans R&D, design, build, installation, and start-up, offering growth across the full project lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Controls, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing or integrating industrial controls and automation systems, including PLC and HMI programming as core competencies.
• Exposure to industrial automation platforms such as robots, material handling systems, CNC, or process tools.
• Experience with electrical design and safety concepts in automation environments.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate on conceptual automated manufacturing equipment and controls architecture.
• Design and support control system architectures including network topology, I/O distribution, safety systems, and communication protocols.
• Develop and debug PLC, HMI, and robot control programs; validate via offline simulations.
• Support site acceptance testing and commissioning of automated manufacturing systems.
