Job summary

RMH Systems Inc. in Loveland, CO is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer I for on-site work with 25–50% travel. You will assist with robot and PLC automation, document projects, and handle service engagements at customer sites.

Ideal candidates have a Mechanical/Mechatronics or Robotics/Automation background, 1–2 years PLC/HMI experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office. Travel domestically is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related Engineering field, or a technical degree in Robotics and/or Automation.
• 1–2 years of experience with PLC/HMI platforms (Studio 5000, RS Logix 500).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation and programming of robots and PLC automation systems.
• Assist with project documentation and service tickets.
• Complete service engagements and submit promptly after work.
• Troubleshoot and debug control systems, hardware, and programs.
• Follow company standards and develop projects per internal and customer standards.
• Support factory and site acceptance testing and performance testing.
