Automation Controls Engineer - Full Company Paid Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Automation Controls Engineer to join our fast-growing automation consulting firm. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automation control systems to enhance manufacturing productivity for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project details clearly with team and clients to ensure accurate, timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Lead design reviews with clients based on project scope.
• Document all design calculations and create comprehensive construction, demolition, and installation instructions.
• Develop detailed drawings for demolition, installation, panel layouts, conduit setups, wire schedules, power loads, and panel heat calculations.

Qualifications

• Experience with 480 VAC power distribution, VFDs, servo drives, PLCs, I/O systems, and DCS.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code, wire sizing, conduit sizing, and installation requirements.
• Pneumatics and hydraulics experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
