Job summary

ESCO Automation is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Automation team. You will be a technical resource on client projects, with basic understanding of PLC and HMI processes, working alongside multi-disciplined engineers to deliver solutions.

You will design and implement automation projects, program PLCs and HMIs, modify display objects, and travel to client sites to commission systems, contributing to efficiency and quality improvements across operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with the design and implementation of industrial automation projects that improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Assist with the design, program, and configuration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interface (HMI) systems to control and monitor industrial processes.
Perform modifications on existing display objects and templates.
Learn and understand the flow of industrial processes.
Travel to client sites and perform physical duties to implement, test, and commission automation systems.
