Make a difference as an Automation Controls Engineer

As a Full-Time Automation Controls Engineer at CNC Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring, modifying, and writing PLC programs, primarily for Allen-Bradley and B&R systems. Your expertise in electrical design will come to life as you create schematics and drawings using electrical CAD software, while also wiring electrical control panels to meet specific project requirements. You will program control systems that utilize PLCs, motion controllers, and HMIs, ensuring optimal performance. On-site installation and commissioning of automation equipment will be a key responsibility, alongside diagnosing and replacing faulty electrical and electronic components.

Your ability to interpret mechanical design drawings from SolidWorks will help you address electrical requirements effectively. Additionally, you will research supplier products for assembly components and develop comprehensive electrical bills of materials, while also overseeing the quality of work by assemblers and technicians. Collaboration with Sales Engineers will further enhance quote preparation as needed.

Your hands-on experience in configuring and programming Allen-Bradley and B&R PLCs and HMIs is crucial for success.
