Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Orlando, FL is seeking an Automation Technician with Asset Management responsibilities for a hybrid role. You will support customers with PLC, HMI, and VFD issues, perform firmware updates, backups, and coordinate repairs while interfacing with engineering, sales and services teams.

You will manage repair orders, track assets, analyze data from ERP and RA tools, and propose improvements to the MRO process. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with U.S.

Responsibilities

• On-Site support and troubleshooting of Rockwell Automation technologies (PLCs, HMI, VFDs).
• Assist with firmware updates and OS patching; perform program backups.
• Support the on-site engineering team with PLC/HMI/VFD migrations or conversions.
• Handle repair management for Allen Bradley components.
• Coordinate and process repair transactions and manage repair orders.
• Provide live tracking for assets repaired or managed.
• Produce daily reporting and data analyses from ERP/R.A. tracking software.
• Develop SOPs and identify MRO/repair process improvements.
• Build relationships with customer partners to identify KPIs.
