Job summary

Crescent Electric is hiring an Application Engineer to provide engineering support and training on automation and control products to internal and external customers. You will collaborate with account managers to achieve automation and control sales goals in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities include launching new products, delivering product training, and supporting on-site customer activities, with occasional billable engineering work and CRM usage to track opportunities and activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or technical degree in engineering from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
• Knowledge of Automation and Control products including VFDs, PLCs, Motion Control, SCADA, HMI, Networking, Sensors, Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop and implement strategic plans to grow market share for Automation and Control Suppliers.
• Develop and present Automation and Control solutions; conduct training, demos, and seminars for customers.
• Launch new products to sales personnel; provide product training and create demo material.
• Occasionally perform billable engineering services (VFD starts, servo tuning, HMI development, PLC programming, surveys).
• Utilize the CRM platform to enter opportunities and activities with customers.
