Job description

Overview

One of our client is looking for an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer based at Phenix City, AL with PLC/Automation/HMI in manufacturing environment. This person will work closely with another E&C Engineer as well as our Process Engineer. He/she will own plant infrastructure – pulling electrical/operations together. Both low and high volt components.

Responsibilities

• Focus on electrical systems in the plant as well as control schemes – particularly as they apply to automation projects.
• Support ongoing plant operations and help set growth and migration targets for future state.
• Contribute to new plant projects as a critical member of the plant leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Control Systems Engineering in Manufacturing
