Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP seeks a Systems Engineer – Automation, Cloud & Scripting to advance our IT ecosystem. You will design automation, build Power Platform workflows, and develop internal web apps for legal operations.

Key focus areas include scripting, Azure, AD governance, secure integrations, and data integrity across enterprise systems, tailored for a legal environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID), including governance.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud integrations.
• Experience configuring secure system connections, API integrations, and hybrid identity.
• Experience with relational databases and complex queries; data governance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and scripting.
• Build workflows with Microsoft Power Platform to streamline matter intake, docs, and approvals.
• Develop internal web applications and portals supporting legal workflows.
• Manage integrations between on‑premises systems and Azure/M365 services.
• Configure secure cloud connections, including APIs, service principals, and identity management.
• Administer Active Directory and Azure AD governance and onboarding/offboarding flows.
• Develop scripts to support identity governance and auditability.
• Query and manage SQL Server/Azure SQL for reporting and backend support.
• Ensure data integrity and security across firm systems; liaise with attorneys and staff.
• Support integrations with iManage, time/billing, and cloud platforms; document processes.
