Job summary

Ellucian is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to build and maintain automations that move data between the University’s core systems. You will connect cloud services with on-premises environments, replacing manual processes with reliable, monitored automation.

You will work on integrating Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365, scripting with PowerShell, and developing workflows to streamline routine tasks.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in systems administration, integration, IT engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills, including scripts that call web APIs.
• Practical experience with REST APIs: authentication, JSON handling, and error handling.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and SSO concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrations between cloud and on-premises systems using REST APIs and scripting.
• Automate account lifecycle and identity processes across Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Write and support scheduled PowerShell automations both on-premises and in Azure.
• Develop workflows and lightweight internal tools to replace manual work.
• Document your work so teammates can support it.
