Fleet Engineers, a Tramec Company, located in Muskegon, Michigan, seeks an Automatic Press Operator to operate and maintain automatic press machines for high-quality radiator cores. The role involves dies setup, synchronization, data entry, and documenting operations.

Typical shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with hours subject to variation. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and requires background check and drug screening for employment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2–3 years of training or progressive work experience.
• Able to follow written and verbal communication.
• Must have basic mathematical capability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain automatic press machines.
• Install dies and adjust ram stroke of press.
• Set up feed bar synchronization with rollers and conveyors.
• Enter job data into computer and document operations.
• Position and clamp feed guides for accurate operation.
• Thread metal strip from reel or hopper to press.
• Crimp, punch, and cut metal foil for radiator cores.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality checks.
• Load materials onto feeder using handling devices.
• Operate tools for setup and preventative maintenance.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
