Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Automatic Door Technician in the Hammond, LA area. You will install and repair a variety of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors, leveraging a mechanical and electrical aptitude.

You will identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services, and you will maintain paperwork while staying safety-conscious on the job. Company truck and fuel, training, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• AAADM Certification preferred.
• Experience with automatic doors or related systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair automatic doors and hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding, and revolving doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and submit job-related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
