Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Automatic Door Technician to install and repair a variety of automatic door systems in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Ideal candidates have a mechanical and electrical aptitude and may have experience with access control or door hardware.

You will work on revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors, ensuring safe operations and quality workmanship, with training provided and a path to certification as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• AAADM Certification Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner.
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
