Job summary

Piedmont Door Solutions is seeking an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician for the Charlotte, NC area. The role covers repair, maintenance, and installation of doors in commercial buildings, hospitals, and stores. Training, tools, equipment, and vehicles are provided.

You will learn from a trainer, work with autonomy on projects, and maintain a professional job site while coordinating with office staff to order parts and track service time.

Qualifications

• Must possess an unrestricted and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with power tools and hand tools in carpentry, electric, military, HVAC or related fields.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift 75+ pounds in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Background check and drug screen required; vaccinations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products.
• Proactively assist in projects, demonstrating autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment.
• Learn techniques from your trainer and grow your existing skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional worksite with attention to detail.
• Work with office staff to order parts, materials, and track time spent on services.
