Job summary

Piedmont Door Solutions is seeking an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician to install, repair, and maintain doors across multiple locations in the Southeast. You will work on commercial buildings, hospitals, and stores, with training and equipment provided.

You will join a team that values initiative, quality workmanship, and dependable service, with opportunities to grow your skills in access control and security products.

Qualifications

• Must possess an unrestricted and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with power tools and hand tools; carpentry, electrical, military, HVAC, or similar preferred.
• Able to stand, bend, and/or climb for long periods in non-climate-controlled environments; lift 75+ pounds; work at heights/use a ladder.
• Background check and drug screen required; flu and other vaccinations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to be a Piedmont Door Technician: Install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products.
• Take initiative: Proactively assist in projects, demonstrating autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment to drive project success.
• Learn and adapt: Learn techniques from your trainer, building on existing skills and showing a desire to grow.
• Maintain professional worksite: Ensure a clean, organized, and professional worksite, paying attention to detail, taking pride in workmanship, and solving problems for customers.
• Work with office staff: Order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services.
