Piedmont Door Solutions, a brand of Cobalt Service Partners, seeks an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician for our Charlotte, NC area. You will repair, maintain, and install doors in commercial buildings, hospitals, and stores, with full training and tools provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess an unrestricted and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with power tools and hand tools; preference for carpentry/electric/military/HVAC or similar.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb for long periods in non-climate-controlled environment; lift 75+ pounds; work at heights with a ladder.
• Background check and drug screen required; flu and other vaccinations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to be a Piedmont Door Technician: Install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products.
• Take initiative: Demonstrate autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment to drive project success.
• Learn and adapt: Learn techniques from your trainer and grow your existing skills.
• Maintain professional worksite: Keep a clean, organized, and professional job site and solve customer problems with pride.
• Work with office staff: Order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services.
